Sinus Eye Problem
Sinus Eye problem is an eye problem which has been found to be associated with the sinusitis or infection/inflammation of the sinuses.
The typical symptoms of sinusitis include cold and an allergy attack that causes swelling of the nasal membranes and leads to increased watery mucous production. In this state, the membranes become so swollen that the tiny openings from the sinuses become blocked.
This leads to pressure-pain in the forehead or face, between and behind the eyes or on the cheeks and upper teeth depending upon the involvement of the type of sinuses. The pressure and pain that is felt in the eyes, face and forehead can be extremely severe in case of acute bacterial sinusitis. Most of the cases of sinusitis respond promptly to medical treatment and the condition is thus not serious; however, an infection that is in the sinus is also very close to the eye and the brain.
