Samuel Pepys Eye Problems were primarily related to photophobia resulting into poor vision in the eyes.
Samuel Pepys was known for writing the finest diary in the English language. He has been always states as a man who had made some remarkable accomplishments. He was the one who was responsible for transforming the English Navy and was also the President of the Royal Society. He was also a member of the British Parliament. During his years of writing diary, Samuel Pepys slowly and steadily started to experience pain in his eyes which was very high in intensity. This was especially felt by him at the time of reading or writing and from Photophobia. This actually became a serious reason for him to give up his diary writing. Samuel Pepys also had an unjustifiable fear of acquiring blindness because of his eye problems. His eyesight was very poor which ultimately held him from writing further; however he later enjoyed entertaining and also had a passion for music.
