Eye Sight Problems
The most common eye sight problems are Myopia, Hyperopia, Diplopia, Floaters and Spots, etc.
Farsightedness or Hyperopia is one of the commonly occurring conditions related to the vision of the eye. In this condition, one may be able to see the distant objects clearly but the nearby objects are generally blurred in appearance. Nearsightedness or Myopia is one of the common vision defects wherein a person is able to see the closer objects extremely clearly but the farter objects appear blurry.Double vision or Diplopia involves misalignment of the eyes which could be due to functional problems in one’s visual system. The other cause could be a structural defect in the optical system of the eyes. However, in comparison to the first one, it is a less common cause. Floaters and Spots in vision are found to occur when the vitreous of the eye breaks within the interior of the eye. This is a gel like structure. These types of spots are particularly found to occur when one peers at a bright, clear sky or a white computer screen. Shadows from these actually are reflected on the retina of the eye and the individuals actually see their shadows.
