Eye Problems After Sugar Consumption.

Eye Problems after Sugar ConsumptionThe excessive levels of sugar in the blood have been found to be a culprit and amongst all problems, eye problems have also been seen to occur after sugar consumption.

Sugar consumption has been found to be associated with premature ageing and wrinkles. The presence of sugar in the bloodstream is responsible in formation of AGE molecules. These molecules lead to the breakdown of skin’s elastin and collagen. Excessive blood sugar levels have also been found to be associated with different eye disorders such as diabetic retinopathy which leads to impaired vision. In order to take care of the wrinkles in the eye area that may result because of sugar consumption, the role played by Vitamin A, E and K is most essential. This is because these vitamins are capable of playing a role of nourishing the damaged cells and make these cells more sturdy and also thicker. This is important because under the influence of presence of wrinkles, the eye area generally becomes thinner. When the skin is thin and weak, it sags and starts appearing like wrinkles.
