Acuvue Oasys Contact Lenses

Many people find contact lenses a great alternative to wearing eyeglasses, and Acuvue Oasys contact lenses are at the top of the list for most contact wearers.

Contacts are so convenient!

The handiest thing to come along since the invention of contact lenses are the super convenient disposable lenses.

Acuvue Oasys has a line they call the Hydraclear Plus.

The lenses use a technology that helps eyes stay fresh and moist throughout the day.

They are designed to eliminate the need for eye drops.

Many contact wearers have to constantly put drops in their eyes, to prevent dryness and excessive strain.

With Acuvue Oasys Hydraclear, dry eyes are a thing of the past.

These lenses are great for anyone, but especially helpful if you work outdoors in dry, windy conditions, spend much of your day in front of the computer, or if your eyes tend to become very tired and irritated by the end of the day.

Many conditions, both indoor and out, can have adverse effects on your eyes, making them dry and itchy within just a few hours. Acuvue Oasys contact lenses use a special silicone-hydrogel technology to keep your eyes comfortable all day. When your eyes feel great, you are more productive and less tired at the end of the day.

You never have to carry around two pairs of prescription glasses, one for regular use and another for sunny days.

With contacts, you just slip on your favorite shades and you are good to go.

Exclusive Acuvue Oasys Features

UV Protection

Acuvue offer the highest UV protection available in a contact lens. AllAcuvue Oasys contacts have built in UV blockers that protect portions of your eyes, by blocking approximately 82 percent of UVA rays, and nearly 97 percent of UVB rays. With some lenses, those figures are even higher.

For complete protection, slip on your cool shades and a big rimmed hat, and your eyes will have all of the protection they need for fun in the sun.

Acuvue warns that the UV properties in their contact lenses are not a substitute for proper sunglasses, because their lenses only protect part of the eye. Environmental situations and personal conditions could still put you at risk for developing cataracts, or other eye problems. Talk to your doctor about your personal situation.

Visibility Tinting

The lenses are slightly tinted. This is to help you find them in their carrying case, or if you drop one. The tinting does not affect your vision or your appearance.

Visibility tinted Acuvue Oasys contact lenses do not change the color of your eyes. The only purpose for the tint is to help you find the lens. A clear lens can be difficult to see in your lens solution, or on your dressing table. The subtle blue tinge makes them much easier to spot. But once they are in your eyes, they are virtually undetectable by others.

Inside Markers

Sometimes it is hard to see which way your lenses go in. A slight twist and you could end up trying to put your lens in backwards. With Acuvue Oasys contact lenses, this won’t be a problem anymore. The unique 1-2-3 printed on the side of the lens tells you right away which way to put the lens in your eye. If you try to put it in wrong, the 1-2-3 will be reversed, as if you were looking at it in a mirror.

The more manufacturers try to improve the flexibility of soft lenses, the harder it is to determine which way the lens should should go in. Inside markers help you put your lens in the right way. If you can read the marking properly, the lens is correct.

If you are ready to make the switch to contacts, talk to your doctor to see if Acuvue Oasys contact lenses might be right for you.
